LifeSkills Training (LST) is a groundbreaking substance abuse prevention program developed by Dr. Gilbert J. Botvin. for elementary and middle school students based on more than 20 years of scientific research. This website has been designed to address three specific and critical steps to the implementation of LST:

Getting Started: this area will help you with the basics on how to plan your LST implementation including planning guidelines, evaluation tools and services, and provider training and resources.

Getting Funded: this section will give you information about how to obtain funding for the LST program, including step-by-step instructions for writing an effective grant and funding sources.

Provider Toolbox: this segment of the website is dedicated to the barrage of questions teachers have after they have already had training while implementing LST in their classrooms, including tips on teaching enrichment, sample exercises, interactive components and much more!
